Week 6 is in the Rearview Mirror!

 Good Afternoon,

It is truly amazing to me that we have 6 weeks of school in. The idea that we have been able to make this work both in person, and virtually is a credit to everyone. It truly is a team effort, and I am so thankful for your continued to support as we navigate this learning journey together, where the most important thing always is the kids, and I will continue to do my very best for your child as week keep moving on this school year.

Week in Review:

Math: We are approaching the end of our first unit. Students have persevered and really pushed themselves in math, and have understood math doesn't come as quick as we would like sometimes; If we work together and persevere we can accomplish great learning!

Writing:  Students are in the midst of drafting and revising their final stories in our narrative units! They have grown so much as writers and are really becoming job captains of their writing!

Reading: We just wrapped up our first narrative reading unit, and will begin to transition to nonfiction reading. It is still encouraged to read fiction at home to help maintain volume and stamina in reading for our daily homework.

Week Ahead: No School Events!

Hope everyone stays healthy and has a great weekend!

Mr. VW
